Superior Nissan

Nissan is going ahead with their new "sport cross" - a not quite sports car, not exactly a SUV or crossover. The Juke, Nissan Motor Co.'s latest venture, was introduced as a small, SUV-style alternative to the "many compact hatchbacks that are coming on the market to lure tight-fisted, forcibly downsizing consumers."

With an exterior style similar to off-road rally cars and interior features that mimic sport bikes, the Juke is a fun 5-door, 5-seater for individualists who "don't want to sacrifice fun just because they're pinching pennies."

Nissan is making several changes to their cars for next year. One of their oldest and most successful rides, the economical Sentra, is up for a redux.

The Japanese auto maker has been at the drawing board and is ready to show off a variety of refreshers and new models.

There will be a redesigned version for all of the Versa subcompact 4and 5-door models, the Sentra compact sedan, and the Altima midsize coupe, plus there will be a new sedan in the next two years. Nissan is also stating that they will be bringing out some more new models…

What type of person does the 2011 Nissan Leaf EV appeal too? Well, celebrities for one. Bill Nye The Science Guy will be driving one soon. So will Alyssa Milano and Lance Armstrong. But what about non-celebrity types?

A study done by Nissan shows that your average age for a new Leaf driver is 45 years old, many of which are those who already own and share experiences with hybrid or electric cars.

Another important fact to take into account from this research - the average annual income of a Nissan Leaf EV driver is around $125,000.

Nissan has revealed the 2011 Murano for the North American market. The facelift on their all new Murano features a updated grille, bumpers and LED taillights in addition to 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels in a fresh design and some interior upgrades as well.

Murano will also be offered in two new configurations, the SV FWD and SV AWD editions. Nissan offers the Murano in a total of 8 sub-models.

The Nissan Murano will still come standard with the VQ-series 3.5 liter V6 with 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque coupled to the Xtronic CVT gearbox.

Nissan has announced official U.S. truck pricing and specifications for their all new 2011 Armada full-size SUV and 2011 Titan full-size pickup. Both vehicles are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. 

MSRP for the Armada will range from $37,000 to $52,800, depending on various trim levels and options. Titan pricing will range from $26,800 to $39,600.

The 2011 Armada is offered in three models; Armada SV, Armada SL and Armada Platinum. Each is offered in 2 or 4-wheel drive. All 2011 Armadas feature a standard 317-horsepower 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine and 5-speed automatic…
