Usain Bolt, the world's fastest man, has agreed to team up with Nissan on their latest advertising endeavor creating the company's first-ever global brand campaign. The Jamaican-born sprinter will be the new poster-child for the Nissan GT-R sports car.

Nissan is calling it the "WHAT_IF" campaign. One Nissan employee working on the effort graciously humbly states that working with Usain is a once-in-lifetime opportunity for the brand.

This slower-than-expected adoption rate can, of course, be attributed in part to EVs' innate urban nature, as well…

Nissan Adopted 15 Electric Chargers in California

Thanks to nonprofit organizations like Adopt a Charger, fee-free electric charging stations for EVs are starting to pop up across the country. The process is pretty simple, actually: companies, individuals, and other organizations "adopt" public electric car chargers by donating funds to install and maintain them. As a leader in EV technology, it only makes sense for Nissan to join forces with Adopt a Charger - especially since the LEAF recently became the first EV available…

Nissan Celebrate Taxi of Tomorrow in NYC

The City of New York is famous for a lot of things. After two years of pouring through…

The beginning of March brought something very important to all fifty states: the Nissan LEAF. We know that many of you in the Fayetteville area have thought about making the switch to an all-electric vehicle, but have hesitated because of charging anxiety. Nissan To Sell Datsun Cars Again By 2014

Nissan hasn't sold a car badged with the Datsun name since 1981, but they hope to sell 300,000 of them in 2014. Seems a bit odd, no? Well, not to an automaker looking to grab a larger portion of some emerging auto markets.

But why not just sell new Nissan models in places like Russia, India and Indonesia? Well, to put it simply, new car shoppers in those markets simply can't afford…
